Delta Controls EnOcean Wireless Media Converter

EnOcean

August 22, 2017

The EnOcean Wireless Media Converter uses customized controller firmware to bring EnOcean wireless data into the BACnet™ system. EnOcean wireless data is recognized as either inputs, or variables for maximum system flexibility. The EnOcean Wireless Gateway solution consists of an RS485 gateway and a Delta Controls controller.

The EnOcean Wireless Media Converter is ideal for zone level wireless installations. The media converter can be added to most Delta controllers and can provide multiple types of sensor data to a zone as well as control a single output device within the zone. The primary function of this solution is for zone level control including sensors (temperature, setpoint, motion, contacts, etc) and outputs (valves, perimeter heat, lighting, etc.).

Features

  • EnOcean Devices: Experience wireless flexibility; up to 32 devices are supported on a Delta Controller with the EnOcean Zone Gateway.
  • EnOcean Enabled Controllers: EnOcean wireless support is added to the eBCON, DAC, and DSC product lines through a firmware upgrade. Field installed controllers can be upgraded to add EnOcean support to existing installations.
  • Save and Load EnOcean Device Configurations: Once an EnOcean device is configured in the controller, it can be saved and used in other controllers. A configuration can be saved for each type of EnOcean device.
  • Simple EnOcean Connection: Relevant network information for an EnOcean wireless device is shown in the Delta gateway when joining an EnOcean device. This ensures that the correct EnOcean device is joining the network.
