The Affiliated Distributors (AD) gala on September 28 brought together over 1,000 AD member companies from across Canada, the U.S. and Mexico. The award for member with the strongest growth in Canada was given to Electrimat—a company specialized in the sale of lighting and electrical material.

Just months after winning a prestigious award in the entrepreneurial category at the 11th edition of the Business Transfer Awards —organized by PwC—Christian Grenier and Mathieu Legris are extremely proud to be leading one of the most flourishing and well-positioned companies in the electrical industry.

“In a market that’s as competitive as ours,” say the two owners, “we are incredibly proud to have won a second award this year. It reaffirms that we’ve made the right choices, we’re putting the right business strategies in place and we’re surrounded by the right people who contribute to our success. Our strength also lies in the flexibility of being an independent company with access to the largest purchasing group in North America.”

AD Canada president Jim Milne had only good words to say about the owners when awarding the prestigious prize. “These two young business partners managed to obtain exceptional results in just seven years. Congratulations!”

Electrimat president Christian Grenier wanted to share the award with all the people in the industry who believed in the company from the beginning. “We can achieve great things when we hire the right people and work as a team,” he said. Vice-President Mathieu Legris also took the opportunity to thank suppliers, partners, team members, and all of Electrimat’s clients.
