CACN Annual General Meeting Highlights

The Canadian Anti-Counterfeiting Network (CACN) has held its AGM in Toronto. Chaired by Sundeep Chauhan (Motion Picture Association), the AGM provided members with an opportunity to learn about recent developments in IP crime prevention and CACN’s role in advocacy.

Sundeep announced the appointment of Katalin Molnar, CSA Group, as Vice-Chair of CACN. Key representatives from Eaton, Siemens and Schneider, participated at this event, which included a keynote address by Brad Elrod from Secure Concepts, who discussed supply chain authentication. Travis Johnson from the International Anti-Counterfeiting Coalition was also invited to share his association’s core objectives.

Nova Scotia Power to Install High Voltage Electrical Lines on New Tower Across Straight of Canso

 

Nova Scotia Power is in the final construction phase of a project that will see six new transmission towers carrying high voltage electrical lines across the Strait of Canso, which will improve service reliability by providing an important back-up power connection between Cape Breton and the mainland.
