The new VALVETRAB MS Type 1+2 combined lightning current and surge arresters have a 3+V circuit. Thanks to their high short-circuit current rating and high-performance protective circuit, they will deliver high system availability to your PV systems.
Due to the voltage limiting varistors, you can use the surge protective devices in isolated DC voltage systems of up to 1,000 V DC. The varistors secure each PV cable individually. The arresters supplement the existing VAL-MS product family with lightning current and surge protective devices with high continuous voltage and a high discharge capacity. The arresters are designed to be pluggable so they can be replaced easily when servicing is required. In addition, the plugs offer you an optical-mechanical status indicator for function monitoring and as required, a floating remote indication contact.
