Bruce Power supplier Applus+ officially opens Walkerton office in Municipality of Brockton

Applus+ recently cut the ribbon to officially open its new office at 220 Kincardine Highway in Walkerton.

The Spain-based company joins more than 60 businesses supporting Bruce Power’s Life-Extension Program which have opened office and/or warehouse space in Bruce, Grey and Huron Counties.

“Along with the Municipality of Brockton, we welcome Applus to our region,” said Mike Rencheck, President and CEO, Bruce Power. “Applus is supporting our mission to provide clean, affordable and reliable power to Ontario’s residents and businesses; it is also making an investment in the Brockton community by creating opportunities for local workers and using commercial space in the municipality.”

Walkerton is the 12th Canadian office for Applus+, which also has locations in Bathurst, N.B.; St. John, N.B.; Quebec City; Pickering, ON; Burlington, ON; Calgary; Edmonton; Fort McMurray, Alta.; Grande Prairie, Alta.; Surrey, B.C.; and Victoria.

Chris Peabody, the Mayor of Brockton, welcomed Applus to the municipality.
