Mersen’s 25mm TPMOV series features a compact design (30% smaller footprint than traditional TPMOV), allowing manufacturers to provide quality surge protection for valuable equipment while maintaining a small form factor.
The 25mm TPMOV series is a Type 1 Component Assembly in accordance to UL 1449 4th Edition. It does not require any upstream overcurrent protection. The series features a nominal discharge current of 10kA, a short circuit current of 200kA, and a surge capacity of 25kA. The 25mm TPMOV provides the same quality, performance, and consistency as the rest of Mersen’s TPMOV family.
Mersen’s diverse TPMOV portfolio of the standard TPMOV product, the enhanced 75kA TPMOV, and now the 25mm TPMOV allows customers to determine the best overvoltage protection solution for their particular application.
