AEA Awards 2024: Carson Keen Presented with Emerging Leader Award

Carson Keen was presented with an Emerging Leader Award at the AEA Calgary 2023 Christmas Luncheon this past December for his remarkable career and contributions he continues to make within Alberta’s lighting industry.

Carson’s career within the lighting industry began over 15 years ago, with 13 of those years being spent at Wow Lighting and Controls. His technical prowess, dedication, and maturity have paved the way for him to evolve into the exemplary leader he is today. Carson’s ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers alike sets his leadership style apart. He leads with purpose and by example, consistently embodying the qualities of a consummate leader and inspiring those around him to excel personally and professionally.

Carson’s motivational skills shine through as he encourages his team and peers to reach for more and take initiative, fostering the development of their own skills and capabilities. His unwavering commitment to excellence makes him a standout nominee for this award. Carson’s impact on the lighting industry, coupled with his leadership qualities, makes him truly deserving of this recognition.

Keen took on the role of Partner and General Manager in Wow Lighting and Controls Calgary office at the end of 2022. His extensive experience in the lighting industry, coupled with his proven leadership skills and the positive impact he brings, positions him as a dynamic force leading the team. Wow Lighting and Controls is excited to witness the positive transformations and achievements that Carson will undoubtedly lead the organization towards in the coming years.
