Luminis Introduces Pelican Exterior Luminaire

October 25, 2024

Luminis has released its Pelican exterior luminaire. It features a uniquely curved shape and patent-pending edge-lit technology.

Pelican stands out with its elegant, organic shape that enhances its surroundings. And it is designed to integrate seamlessly into various outdoor spaces, including pathways, plazas, sidewalks, parks, city streets, or commercial building facades.

Pelican

Advanced edge-lit technology, composed of LED boards, diffusor, reflector, and drivers, enables Pelican to offer a wide, luminous area. Distributing light evenly across its expansive 24″ x 18″ surface eliminates harsh hotspots and reduces glare to create soft, uniform, and gradual illumination.

Pelican luminaires deliver efficient, functional light with a range of distributions, including pathway symmetric or asymmetric, asymmetric wide or long, and symmetric round. Lighting designers may choose outputs from 5,000 to 18,000 delivered lumens. Single or twin mount pole – from eight to 20 feet – or wall mount options are available.

Pelican may be selected with nLight® AIR, a wireless lighting control within the nLight platform, to deliver networked lighting controls that are easy to specify, install, and use.

Features:
  • Comfort viewing with edge-lit approach (patent pending)
  • Static white LED module
  • 2 mounting options
  • Outputs up to 18,000 delivered lumens
  • Distributions: Pathway symmetric, pathway asymmetric, asymmetric wide, asymmetric long, symmetric round
  • 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K CCT at 80 CRI
  • Optional: Photocell, motion sensor, surge protector, fuse
  • 120V, 277V, 347V, 480V, MVOLT, HVLOT
