Chuck Cartmill Announces Retirement as CEO of LED Roadway Lighting

LED Roadway Lighting (LRL) has announced that Chuck Cartmill will be stepping down as Chief Executive Officer effective January 1st, 2025.

Since founding the company in 2002 as C-Vision, Chuck has played an instrumental role in growing LED Roadway Lighting from its modest beginnings in an empty building with one employee into a worldwide leader in innovative streetlighting technology. Under his leadership, the company has expanded its footprint globally, achieving remarkable milestones in product innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction.

Reflecting on his tenure, Chuck shared:

“It has been an incredible journey to witness how far we’ve come as a team. This success is a testament to the hard work, dedication, and innovation of every member of this organization. I am deeply grateful to have been part of this remarkable transformation.”

With Chuck’s departure, the company is pleased to announce that Ken Cartmill and Dave Scott will take over as Co-CEOs of LED Roadway Lighting. Both Ken and Dave have been integral to the company’s growth and bring a wealth of leadership experience, strategic vision, and a commitment to advancing LED Roadway Lighting’s mission.

“Ken and Dave are exceptional leaders who have demonstrated their ability to drive innovation and inspire success. I have complete confidence in their ability to lead this company into an exciting new chapter,” Chuck added.

As he prepares for his retirement, Chuck will work closely with the leadership team to ensure a seamless transition. He will continue to remain a proud supporter of LED Roadway Lighting and its future endeavours.
