Westburne Canada Announces Promotion of Anshul Mathur to President

February 7, 2025

Rexel has announced the promotion of Anshul Mathur to the position of President, Westburne Canada, effective March 31, 2025.

This transition will include a two-month handover period to ensure a seamless transfer of responsibilities.

Anshul joined the Rexel Canada team on July 18, 2011, as a Business Development Account Manager at Westburne. His commitment to expanding our business led him to take on key account and IPG roles, demonstrating his dedication and leadership skills. In 2020, he was promoted to General Manager at Nedco West, where he continued to excel. Most recently, in 2024, Anshul relocated back to Toronto to assume the position of VP Supplier & Corporate Strategy following Jeffrey Moyle’s promotion to CEO.

Anshul holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA from the Rotman School of Business, providing him with a strong foundation of knowledge and expertise for his new role. His previous experience with OPG, Worley Parsons, and Hydro One Networks further enhances his qualifications.

“Given his educational background, diverse work experience, and extensive industry knowledge, we are confident that Anshul is well-equipped to lead Westburne Canada into its next chapter,” said Rexel Canada Electrical CEO Jeffrey Moyle via release.

“Please join us in congratulating Anshul on this well-deserved promotion. We look forward to his continued contributions and leadership at Westburne Canada.”
