IDEAL Announces Exciting Changes to Ontario Sales Team

June 25, 2025

Announcement by Sean Bernard, National Sales Manager – Canada, IDEAL Electrical

IDEAL Electrical is proud of our focus on manufacturing top-quality products made in Canada. Many of our best-selling products like wire connectors (including Canada’s #1 connector Can-Twist), and Yellow 77 lubricant have been manufactured in Ajax, Ontario for over 60 years.

As part of our continuous efforts to better serve our customers, I am very proud and excited to make the following announcements:

Please welcome Intralec Electrical Products as our new sales agency partner serving the Central & Southwestern Ontario regions. They will be responsible for serving and growing our business in the area bordered by Belleville to the east, Windsor to the west, Barrie to the north (including the Grey-Bruce County corridor) and Lake Ontario (including the Golden Horseshoe) to the south. As a highly respected and successful agency with over 45 years of experience, we could not be more excited to partner with Intralec Electrical Products and work collaboratively to achieve our goals and provide exceptional service to our customers in the region.

I am also pleased to announce that Michael Stickney has been appointed as District Sales Manager for Ontario. Beginning his career as a tradesperson, Michael transitioned to a sales role in the Industrial Distribution sector before joining IDEAL Electrical. In his 5+ years with IDEAL Electrical, Michael has progressed from Area Sales Manager for Southwestern Ontario, most recently adding Key Account Management responsibilities to his role. In his new position, Michael will be responsible for agency relations and key account management for Ontario (excluding the Ottawa area) and tasked with executing our strategic growth plans in the region. Michael will continue to report to myself.

Please join me in congratulating Intralec Electrical Products and Michael in their new roles.
