BCCA Response to Investment Announcement

Statement from BCCA:
The British Columbia Construction Association (BCCA) welcomes today’s joint announcement by the federal and provincial governments to invest in housing, infrastructure, healthcare, and public transit across British Columbia, including funding to reduce Development Cost Charges (DCCs).
These investments will help support the infrastructure needed to enable new housing and strengthen communities across the province. Continued investment is critical to supporting a growing population and ensuring that communities have the services and facilities they need.
We look forward to continuing to work with the provincial and federal governments, our regional partners at the Vancouver Regional Construction Association, Vancouver Island Construction Association, Southern Interior Construction Association, and Northern Regional Construction Association, and other industry leaders and allies to help ensure these investments are delivered efficiently and provide lasting benefits for communities throughout British Columbia.
