Helix Cable Tray Fitting Wins at MCEE Tradeshow

Thomas & Betts’ Helix cable tray fitting received the award for ‘Best New Electrical Product, Industrial Applications’ at the recent MCEE trade show held in Montreal, Quebec last April 22 and 23.

“The Helix fitting was developed specifically for use in confined areas,” said Claudine Cromp, Director of Marketing for Thomas & Betts Canada. “It allows installers to transition from horizontal to vertical cable tray in less time, while using significantly less space. Installers can now secure and organize cable runs without needing to position the cable tray assembly to make room for transitional fittings.”

Part of Thomas & Betts’ cable tray offering, the Helix fitting is available in left or right configurations in aluminum, pre-galvanized steel and stainless steel in 12-inch and 24-inch widths, with 6-inch side rails. The fitting is shipped pre-assembled and ready to install.

The Helix fitting is manufactured in Canada at the Thomas & Betts plant in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu (Iberville), Quebec.
