Registration Open for 2024 Nova Scotia Skills Competition

The Nova Scotia Skills Competition is a unique opportunity for students and apprentices to compete in skilled trade and technology competitions. Apprentices develop and showcase their skills, gain experience, and add to their resume, with hours spent competing counted towards their apprenticeship.

Hosted annually in the spring, the Nova Scotia Skills Competition brings together young Nova Scotians competing for the honour of being crowned best in province in their chosen field, and for the opportunity to join Team Nova Scotia at the Skills Canada National Competition.

Registrations for the 2024 Nova Scotia Skills Competition are open now until February 23. Each contest area has a limited number of registration vacancies so early registration is encouraged. The Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency will cover the $40 registration fee for apprentices.
