Phillips Cables Reunion

Phillips Cables Reunion

Five former employees of Phillips Cables, a major employer for 75 years in Brockville, ON, are the driving force behind a reunion taking place June 11. It will be 20 years in May since the closure of the Phillips Cables facility.

The event is open to all former employees and their spouses. Organizers are hoping that 200 people will come to renew old acquaintanceships and share stories. The event includes an afternoon tour of Northern Cables, a social hour, group photos, and a dinner.

Northern Cables, which manufactures armoured cables and employs 145 people at three plants in Brockville and Prescott, ON, was formed by former Phillips employees.

Register today for the reunion: http://phillipscablesreunion.weebly.com.
