ABB Ranks in Top Three Among Forbes Canada’s Best Employers of 2016

ABB, a global leader in power and automation technologies, has been ranked third in Forbes Canada’s Best Employers of 2016 list. Forbes’ final list contains 250 employers across 25 industries.

The rankings are based on the responses of more than 8,000 Canadian employees calculated by online statistics provider Statistica. Survey respondents were asked to rate the likeliness on a scale of 1 to 10 they would recommend their employer to someone else, as well as their feelings toward other employers in their industry.

“The leading-edge technologies we provide to our customers are a result of our employees’ expertise and dedication,” says Nathalie Pilon, Country Managing Director of ABB in Canada. “As a technology pioneer, we tackle some of the most challenging projects facing the world today, and our employees are what takes our approach to power and automation to the next level by providing the service and skill sets that create sustainable and innovative solutions for our customers’ needs.”

“ABB in Canada stands for performance, innovation and great customer service, and we’ve built a culture here to reflect these values,” says Fannie Jacques, Vice President, Human Resources, ABB in Canada. “We also know that our focus on wellness results in happy and healthy employees, a return on investment that also keeps our customers happy with us. Building a better world with core values of employee development, safety and integrity, is our mission.”
