Ouellet is proud to announce the opening of a new Distribution Centre at 270 Avenue Corriveau in Montmagny. With an area of 45,000 ft.2, this completely renovated building will house the shipping, storage and repackaging activities of the Ouellet, Momento and Global Commander brands, most of which are manufactured at the L’Islet plant.

This Distribution Centre is part of Ouellet’s rationalization and modernization plan and represents the most significant investment. $3.5 million has been invested in transforming the old Corriveau factory into a building that responds perfectly to the needs of the business. The space freed up in L’Islet has helped consolidate the manufacturing floor heating systems and cables that were manufactured in Quebec City.

In addition to this considerable investment, Ouellet is working on two major projects that will be completed at the beginning of 2017:
– Automation of electric baseboard assembly, an investment of $2 million
– Implementation of a new enterprise management computer system (ERP), an investment of $3 million

These investments, totalling $8 million, demonstrate the confidence that the company’s management has in its customers, employees and the region.
