Commercial and Home LED Dimmers Bear Unauthorized CSA Certification Mark

CSA Group counterfeit certification marks

LED dimmers have been identified in the Canadian market displaying a counterfeit CSA Group certification mark. These LED dimmers contain a label that bears an unauthorized CSA Group certification trademark.

The affected known units are branded “LED DIMMING/ Dimmable LED Driver/LED Panel Light” and are without traceability to the manufacturer or a legitimate CSA file number. CSA Group has not tested or certified these units. There have been no reports of damage, fire or injury to date. Consumers are encouraged to verify the authenticity of any products bearing CSA Group’s certification mark using CSA Group’s online certified product listing.

The identified units were found for sale online at various e-commerce platforms such as DHGate and Alibaba, as well as in flea markets and retail locations in Ontario.

Consumers with the affected models are advised to immediately discontinue use of the product and to contact CSA Group’s anti-counterfeiting team.
