July 7, 2016

Sylvania recently celebrated LEDVANCE, its new brand and product line, with an industry launch party. Born of out of the OSRAM brand, LEDVANCE looks to bring a new modern edge to the company.

The aim is to produce the established illumination the industry needs and trusts, with a modern edge and an emphasis on emerging innovative technology.

Electrical Industry News Week had an exclusive first look at LEDVANCE’s new product offerings, guided by a number of knowledgeable subject matter experts. The line includes innovative technologies in connected lighting solutions, such as ‘Lightify’, which aims to automate and streamline all residential smart illumination and connections. In addition, there were number of indoor/outdoor industrial and commercial LED lights and paneling with features such as beautiful sleek finishes, lightweight designs, dimming options, and emergency backups.

LEDVANCE ULTRA LED Ceiling LightLEDVANCE also displayed an extensive line of bulbs and fixtures to enhance the design and function of residential, commercial and industrial properties. One standout: ULTRA LED Ceiling Light, designed to fit into any socket. It simply screws in and covers the existing socket, providing beautiful LED lighting to traditionally dimly lit spaces, such as a basement or garage.

The event was held at the Design Exchange building in Toronto. The location and event décor served as an homage to the LEDVANCE brand — modern, clean and inventive.
