ESA to Recognize EFC and Joint AFCI Task Force Members

The Ontario Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) will recognize Electro-Federation Canada and its joint section task force members during an awards ceremony on September 29.

The group helped successful expand arc fault protection in the Canadian Electrical Code, and has been selected to receive an Honourary Mention in the Consumer and Home Safety category. The task force brought divergent opinions together to help advance AFCI technology and expand the applicability of AFCI usage beyond bedroom branch circuits in the CEC Part 1:2015 code to practically the whole home.
