Philips, Lutron and Nest Among IoT Breakthrough Award Winners

The international IoT Breakthrough Awards recognize the best Internet of Things (IoT) companies, products and people in home automation, connected car, wearables, industrial and enterprise IoT, M2M and beyond.

The competition is organized by IoT Breakthrough, an independent organization dedicated to helping the best IoT products and companies stand out in the industry.

It is open to all individuals, companies and organizations involved in producing IoT products and services.

Award nominations are judged by an independent panel of technology professionals with hands-on IoT experience, including media, analysts, marketers and technology executives. The goal is to recognize the best and brightest in the IoT market today.

Among the winners, all in the Connected Home category, are

  • Philips Lighting — Lighting Company of the Year
  • Lutron — Lighting Innovation of the Year
  • Nest — Heating and Cooling Product of the Year
