On October 2, Convectair officially launched Connectair, a new innovative product employing an open, evolving and secure ecosystem enabling the simple control of connected devices within households.

Convectair goes above and beyond in presenting Watchful Home by Connectair. This unique refined version of the evolved new-generation smart home has the following four main objectives:

  1. To generate reflection on consumers’ real needs, with regards to improving comfort, access to technology, and distinctive innovative products and services that are accessible and user-friendly, while contributing to peace of mind, quality of life and well-being
  1. To enrich the Connectair ecosystem, while building upon creativity, collaboration and listening skills in order to r-evolution-ize know-how and ways of thinking, while respecting reduced carbon energy efficiency and optimal use of water
  1. To revisit the “why” and “how” of doing things, accounting for the new digital technology context and its evolution, while maintaining social acceptability, ethics and cyber protection as uncompromised priorities
  1. To ensure the recognition, leadership and visibility of Convectair in its field of expertise.

In collaboration with its partners, Convectair will establish and lead a community of interest in the form of discussion groups, to enrich and enhance The Watchful Home concept. These structured conceptualization groups will contribute to creating the rational, targeted and well-thought-out products and services that consumers want.

Watchful Home by Connectair is part of Convectair’s long-term vision of energy efficiency and continual research to improve its clients’ comfort.

“Watchful Home by Connectair goes beyond our products. It essentially represents Convectair, and symbolizes the relationships between comfort in the home, efforts in working towards energy efficiency and respect of the user. As a responsible and forward-thinking company, we strive to offer our clients the opportunity to make an impact on their own well-being,” declares Bernard Pitre, CEO of Convectair.

Watchful Home by Connectair is the fruit of a collaboration between industrial and academic partners evolving within the Connectair ecosystem, such as Mosaic, at HEC Montréal, Leviton Canada and 2KLIC.
