Schneider Electric Canada employees recently raised $80,450 for children’s charities at a fundraising event held at Mont Tremblant in Quebec’s Laurentian mountains. “Tremblant’s 24h” raised a record total $2.6 million for the Fondation Centre de cancérologie Charles-Bruneau, the Ottawa Senators Foundation and La Fondation Tremblant. Over 24 hours, 2,600 skiers, runners and walkers grouped into 273 teams completed 12,173 downhill runs and ran or walked 17,415 kilometres.
“It was with great pleasure and enthusiasm that Schneider Electric Canada took part in Temblant’s 24h,” says Monique Ross Lanoue, Senior Marketing Specialist at Schneider Electric. “Our success this year was only possible through the devotion of the 70 employees and two mascots who participated and raised $80,450 to help these charities benefiting children. Since 2009, our employees have raised more than $200,000 for this event.”
