Toronto Hydro Offers an Open Call to Innovators Around the World

EIN CS 29 PowerPitch 400

July 5, 2019

Power Pitch is a new way for innovators to bring forward ideas that support Toronto Hydro’s commitment to continuous improvement and technological innovation.

At this time, Toronto Hydro is interested in learning about your solutions for real-time smart operation of distribution system automation.

The target area is their open loop distribution system, surrounding the city core. Populated with high- and low-rise buildings, this large urban area also includes sections of heavy tree canopy.

Your hardware/software solution must support Toronto Hydro’s legacy equipment while being flexible to meet future needs and changes. Your submission should include operational and implementation details, scalability and projected impact.

If selected, you’ll be invited to pitch your solution to their team in an informal setting, where they will offer feedback, share information and potentially explore opportunities to collaborate.

Applications are welcome from anywhere in the world. Application deadline is July 29, 2019.
