Developing a National Strategy for Women in the Trades
July 10, 2019
The Canadian Apprenticeship Forum is accepting applications to participate in the CAF-FCA task force for the development of a national strategy for supporting women in the trades. Please ensure to read the terms of reference prior to submitting your application. Applications accepted until August 12th, 2019.
The complex nature of the scope of work requires that this project be carried out with close collaboration among the apprenticeship community and with input from representatives from the various stakeholder groups that make up the apprenticeship community.
For example, the task force requires participation from the following: employers, educational institutions, labour groups, government, community service providers, tradespeople and apprentices.
With the exception of tradespeople and apprentices, participation in the task force is for CAF-FCA members only.
