BJ Electric had been teasing a major announcement on their social media recently, before finally announcing last week they have rebranded as Bernie’s Electric Supplies Ltd, a nod to the company’s founder and legacy.
“BJ Electric Supplies is now Bernie’s Electric Supplies—in honor of our founder, Bernard Joseph Thompson, and the values that have guided the company for nearly 50 years. As we grow and evolve, this name reinforces our commitment to integrity, respect, and long-standing trust while giving our brand a clearer, more distinctive presence,” the company says on their new website.
“This name goes straight back to 1976 and to Bernie Thompson — our founder, our roots, and the values that built this company from the ground up. Showing up. Standing behind our word. Taking care of people. That’s been the heartbeat of this place for nearly 50 years — and now our name puts it front and center,” the company said on LinkedIn.
