For the ninth consecutive year, CSA Group has been recognized as one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for 2025 by Mediacorp Canada Inc. The annual competition recognizes employers in the Greater Toronto Area with exceptional human resources programs and forward-looking workplace policies.

Headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, CSA Group has over 2,000 full-time staff across two organizations: a non-profit standards development organization and a commercial testing, inspection and certification (TIC) business. Employees are driven by a shared mission centred on health, safety and sustainability, and a common mandate to hold the future to a higher standard. Some of the reasons for this year’s selection include CSA Group’s commitment to employee mental well-being and physical safety, its ongoing investment in continuous training and development, and its efforts in fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce.

“Being recognized once again as one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers is a true honour for CSA Group,” said David Weinstein, President and CEO, CSA Group. “The region continues to be an incredible source of talent, innovation, and opportunity. This award not only helps to shine a spotlight on our unwavering commitment to creating a workplace that prioritizes health, safety, and sustainability, but one that prioritizes the nurturing of rewarding careers for our employees. We are proud to foster a culture where our team feels empowered to make a difference, both within the company and in the communities we serve.”

Grading of employers for the competition is based on eight criteria which have remained consistent since the project’s inception: (1) Physical Workplace; (2) Work Atmosphere & Social; (3) Health, Financial & Family Benefits; (4) Vacation & Time-Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance Management; (7) Training & Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement.
