Quebec Will Need 16,000 Contruction Workers Per Year

The Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ) released its report, Occupational Outlook in the Construction Industry 2025-2029. Despite a global context marked by uncertainty, workforce needs are estimated at an average of 16,000 workers per year by 2029.
The need for replacement workers will remain significant for all trades and occupations.
Job prospects are favorable for many specialties, including bricklayers, insulators, tilers, carpenters, roofers and tinsmiths, security system installers, fitters and glazier mechanics, heavy equipment operators, painters and plasterers, as well as flexible and interior flooring installers.
