Sonepar Announces Brand Consolidation in Ontario

October 7, 2025

Sonepar proudly announces the consolidation of their Ontario businesses from five brands to two. Aztec, Dixon and MGM will rebrand as a new and refreshed Dixon. Electrozad and Sesco will carry the new Electrozad brand.

“Through many years of continued growth and acquisitions at Sonepar Canada, we have reached an exciting point in Ontario where we can make changes to our overall brand structure to continue advancing our best-in-class experience for our customers, vendors and associates,” stated Sonepar Canada President Serge Leblanc.

Sonepar Ontario President James Taylor adds, “the alignment of Ontario from five distinct brands to two will allow us to leverage our size and shared knowledge to propel the business forward. We are excited for the growth and synergy this alignment will allow us to bring to market in Ontario.”

Brand alignment is expected to take place at the beginning of November. Customers and vendors will be kept informed of changes which may affect them directly. Further details of this brand consolidation can be found on the operating companies’ websites.
