Codale Electric Supply, a Sonepar company, is transforming electrical distribution with the launch of its central distribution center located just off the Las Vegas Strip, in October 2025. The site features a highly automated setup designed to improve speed, accuracy, and customer convenience. At the heart of the facility is an advanced AutoStore goods‑to‑person solution deployed in partnership with Kardex.
The result is a high‑density system that compresses close to 10,000 SKUs into a compact footprint. This setup allows Codale teams to process walk‑in and will‑call orders in only minutes. The new model also supports faster replenishment for branches and project customers across the region.
Automated logistics built for speed
The new solution uses storage robots that transport bins directly to workstations where Codale associates can pick orders quickly and safely. By bringing the goods to the operator, AutoStore reduces travel time, lowers fatigue, and ensures consistent speed throughout the day. The compact cube structure also creates more room for future growth.
