NSAA to Host Virtual Consultation Sessions with Sector Partners

On Monday, June 20, the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency will host virtual consultation sessions with skilled trade sector partners during the following times:

Construction Sector: June 20 from 9:00 – 10:30 a.m.

Industrial, Motive Power, and Service Sector: June 20 from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.

The consultation sessions will include a presentation from the Agency with Education and Early Childhood Development on a new Skilled Trade Certificate for high school students. The presentation will be followed by a discussion with employers and industry partners to learn how to engage youth in the certificate program, and employers regarding the value of the certificate.

The Agency has e-mailed a calendar appointment to sector partners. If you are a sector partner and would like to attend but did not receive a calendar invite, please email Kate Wray for follow up. Sector partners are encouraged to extend the invite to their employer and contractor networks.
