The low voltage market is more profitable than the traditional electrical market: in some cases twice as profitable or greater. This key finding comes from research commissioned by Electri International — The Foundation for Electrical Construction.

On a constant dollar basis (2012=100), investment in building construction increased 0.8% to $12.8 billion.
