While the majority of installations today are distributed high voltage (between 110V and 347V), the emergence of solid-state lighting technology has brought into question whether this is the most practical and efficient way to feed future lighting systems.
BHP Group Limited, Caterpillar Inc., and Finning International Inc. announced an agreement to replace BHP’s entire Escondida mine haul truck fleet with electric drive trucks – the world’s largest copper producer, located in the Antofagasta Region, northern Chile.
As Ontario’s energy needs increase, the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) and Ontario Energy Board (OEB) are working with local electricity distributors and technology companies to help communities and businesses contribute to the province’s energy future.
