Canadian facilities operating on 347-volt power now have a simple, scalable, and reliable wireless solution: the Vive 347 V Dimming Module by Lutron Electronics, the industry leader in wireless lighting and shade control.

Vive by Lutron is a modular wireless lighting control solution for retrofits of existing commercial buildings and new construction. Wireless networked solutions provide control where you need it, supporting your project and your people.

This latest module, a 0-10 V control, is made specifically for 347 V systems, which are featured in many buildings in eastern Canada, and like other Vive components, uses Lutron’s exclusive Clear Connect technology. The Vive 347 V dimming model is ideal for buildings such as schools, office spaces, and universities.

The dimming modules can communicate wirelessly to Lutron Pico remote controls or other Vive wireless sensors, making it easy to add additional wall controls without running new wire, and are compatible with Vive system components, including the Vive wireless hub. The Vive hub enables an app or simple setup process using a standard web browser on any Wi-Fi enabled phone, tablet or computer. It also enables control and monitoring of all Vive devices – and can grow over time based on your needs, from a single office to an entire floor to a building and campus, with no new wiring needed.

“Lutron Vive wireless solutions offer simple installation, easy setup, system monitoring, and fit a wide range of budgetary requirements. They’ve become an essential lighting control in millions of projects all over the world,” says Rick Walsh, Vive product manager. “This new 347-volt dimming module brings the convenience and reliability of Vive wireless solutions to projects in Canada.”

The new device is UL listed, FCC approved, and complies with the limits for a Class B device, pursuant to Industry Canada (IC) rules.

Product is taking orders now and units will start shipping on “September 15, 2020”
