Graybar Ontario Team Contributes Greatly to the Purse Project

November 30, 2023

Team lead, Stefanie Cosentino, Graybar Canada, Women’s Network-Ontario Region committee member, and Andrew Fitzpatrick, Graybar Canada, gathered their teams and really did an incredible job with purse donations.

The team donated over $500 in cash, which was matched by Graybar, and filled 27 purses, with the top 10 items needed and more.

Stefanie claims “it was an easy ask, for a worthwhile cause.  The team got really excited along with management regarding contributing to the Purse Project.  Purses were donated by staff, their sisters, and wives which made it easy to fill as many purses as we did. It was a great team effort over the past several weeks, and we are happy to contribute and to be a part of the spirit of giving, this holiday season”

Stefanie Cosentino,

Women’s Network Ontario is Partnering with The Purse Project

This year, Women’s Network Ontario Chair, Lori Bagazzoli, Ledvance Ltd, and Vice Chair Sandra Tomassi, Ouellet Canada Inc., are pleased to announce that we are partnering with the Purse Project for the 2023 holiday season. As community ambassadors, The Purse Project will benefit so many women who are less fortunate and in great need of everyday items. The Purse Project was created in 2006 and has donated over 10,000 purses and other necessities to women shelters and other related charities.

How can EFC members support this initiative? The Purse Project has asked that EFC members fill a medium to large new or gently loved purse with all the following items. Every purse is reviewed as complete purses are donated.

  1. Toothbrush
  2. Toothpaste
  3. Deodorant
  4. Hand Sanitizer
  5. Body OR Hand Lotion
  6. Shampoo (or 2-in-1 shampoo/conditioner)
