Canada’s National Electrical Trade Council (NETCO) is pleased to announce that DEWALT has joined on as inaugural partner of the new training partner package initiative that NETCO is now rolling out to the electrical industry.

The training partner package is a major initiative that DEWALT will assist in delivering best in class industry products directly to 8,000 electrical contractors and approximately 70,000 members that NETCO represents, including new apprentices and current red seal electricians. This will enable manufacturers to train the end user to use their products the correct way. The program will also open the door to other marketing initiatives and participation in events and industry networking opportunities.

NETCO Executive Director Melissa Young explains this partnership could not be timelier as the electrical industry is in growth mode with demand for clean energy growing.

“We are beyond excited to welcome DEWALT on as our first training partner. To have such a leader in the tool industry that is known and recognized worldwide, as one of our partners for this program, will surely raise the level of interest in their products in our training centers and among our contractor associations,” said Young.

“DEWALT has already been a great ally to NETCO and we are eager to grow this partnership to benefit the electrical industry in Canada and to assist them with learning the tools of the trade,” said Young.
