Survey Says: Where Plant Electricians Work

Canadian municipalities issued $7.9 billion worth of building permits in July, down 3.5% from June and the first decrease since March 2017. Lower construction intentions for commercial buildings and multi-family dwellings were mainly responsible for the national decline. The total value of permits was down in seven provinces, led by lower construction intentions for multi-family dwellings and commercial buildings in Ontario.
Steven Lupo, Managing Director of Trilliant Canada says this is a critical time for utilities as the industry shifts towards more-connected technologies.
Organizations funded under the Apprenticeship Service will distribute financial incentives to SMEs who hire apprentices, and provide additional supports, such as help navigating the apprenticeship system, onboarding apprentices, and creating welcoming workplaces. SMEs with 499 or fewer paid employees are eligible for the funding.
Electrical enclosures serve to protect electrical devices from adverse environmental influences, such as dirt, other particulates, moisture, or chemicals that could damage components.
It is very scary to realize that our entire world has changed so drastically with the COVID-19 pandemic. As electricians and small business owners, the word “essential services” quickly became part of our everyday vocabulary.
