Eaton Lighting Solutions’ Linear LED Cove Lighting System

August 3, 2016

Simple, small and powerful are the three key words that best describe the LC32 LED cove lighting system. This system offers the perfect combination of scale, performance, and control to create vibrant lighting effects.

With an advanced system of low powered LEDs, the LC32 delivers smooth, diffuse and consistent light to architectural features and surfaces. Equipped with an integral dimmable driver, two lumen packages, and four colour temperatures, the LC32 can be easily tailored to the application while keeping energy consumption at a minimum.

In addition, LC32’s unique, easy-to-install design offers continuous shadow free lighting for seamless illumination effects over long distances and solves the age old problem of fluorescent socket shadows. And finally, the LC32 will not break the budget with its affordable pricing and low maintenance design that carries a 50,000 hour rated system life.

With a comprehensive range of features, the LC32 offers high performance with flexibility and easy installation in mind. Its compact construction, low energy consumption, and remarkably powerful lumen packages make it a valuable linear lighting design tool that extends its use far beyond cove lighting.

Key features include:

• an integral driver reduces installation costs and eliminates the need to locate an accessible spot for the driver
• lower installation costs with the quick connect feature. Male and female connectors easily snap together to create run lengths up to 100 feet. See installation instructions for more details
• light level 1 achieves 750 lumens per foot, which is great for enhancing architectural details, while light level 2 offers an impressive 1300 lumens per foot providing enough light to adequately illuminate a space with comfortable indirect light
• limitless applications offering the lighting designer a flexible design tool limited only by their creativity to achieve perfect lighting for wall wash, floating surface, backlit, display or typical cove accents

Rather than using high-power LED chips spaced far apart, the LC32 uses low-power LED chips spaced closely together and in multiple rows. The end result is smooth, soft illumination across a surface without any noticeable colour shift. Three pre-set aiming settings are field adjustable and allow for more flexibility. Choose from 0º, 15º or 30º tilt to direct light exactly where you want it. ELV (line voltage) and 0-10V dimming options are available, providing flexibility in the increasingly smart building environment.

The proof is in the colour and the LC32 is offered in 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, and 4000K CCT and comes with a high colour rendering index of 85+ to compliment any decor.
