RetroFlex Instant Start Dimming Driver

May 17, 2016

Espen Technology has expanded its line of plug-and-play LED tubes with new dimming and non-dimming constant current drivers. The RetroFlex Instant Start Dimming Driver has enhanced performance with 0-10V continuous dimming, all the way down to 10% lumen output.  Both the dimming and non-dimming drivers work with Espen’s 2’, 3’, 4’, and U-bend plug-and-play LED tubes.

Both the dimming and non-dimming drivers are offered in 2-lamp and 4-lamp versions.  They operate Espen RetroFlex LED tubes that are between 8 – 17W each, and the constant current drivers accept 120/277V.  The new drivers are UL listed for type 1 outdoor, dry or damp locations.

Clancy commented, “It is the combination of instant start, high efficiency, and 0-10V dimming down to 10% lumen output that makes these drivers important new linear lighting solutions for commercial markets.”  The new RetroFlex Drivers was shown at Espen Technology’s LightFair booth in San Diego, CA.
