The retrofit kits for troffers and 1’X8’ strip lights are available in both 2’X2’ and 2’X4’ sizes. Both size troffer kits feature full end-to-end centre baskets. Most competitor retrofit centre baskets don’t extend full end-to-end.

Each troffer kit contains Espen drivers and modules, ensuring high quality, service life, and end user ROI. The troffer retrofits come completely assembled as a lensed kit, requiring only one minute to install, reducing labour costs.

The 1’X8’ Retrofit Kits convert 8’ fluorescent strip lights (T12 and T8) to the latest 4’ LED tube technology; 4’ T8 lamps are more convenient for storage and transportation. The Espen kit gives the option of using Espen LED tubes with external driver (both dimming and non-dimming) or can be wired for Espen’s line voltage direct LED tubes.

“The introduction of these new LED retrofit kits further extend Espen as the industry leader in full-line commercial indoor linear retrofit solutions,” says John Clancy, VP of Sales at Espen. “No other manufacturer has as wide an offering on commercial indoor linear retrofit options.”

Both the 2’X2’ and 2’X4’ troffer retrofit kits provide an ideal way to upgrade existing fluorescent recessed troffers, utilizing the existing fixture housing. The kit provides all of the components needed to perform the change out quickly and efficiently, permitting system upgrades without disturbing the ceiling. The LED troffer retrofits are completely assembled within the frame. The 2’X2’ retrofits are 22W, 2850 lumens, 130 lpw, universal voltage, 0-10V dimming, and are offered in 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K CCTs. The 2’X4’ retrofits are 38W, 4900 lumens, 130 lpw, universal voltage, 0-10V dimming, and are offered in 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K CCTs.

The 1’X8’ strip retrofit kit provides an ideal way to upgrade existing 8’ fluorescent strip fixtures (both T12 and T8), using simple hand tools, and maintaining the existing fixture housing. It enables simple installation of ends and center socket plates with tek screws and quarter turn latches to secure the ballast / driver cover plus reflector.

All of the new LED retrofit kits are DLC pending. Detailed product information and specifications can be obtained by emailing jclancy@espentech.com.
