For decades utilities have specified and used the SAFETYSUB line, under ILSCO’s UTILCO brand name, for direct burial connectors that meet their unique specifications. In response to your requests, now these connectors are UL Listed and CSA Certified for commercial use.

SAFETYSUB underground splice and tap connectors are dual rated for copper or aluminum conductors from 350MCM-10STR. They offer maximum range-taking capabilities for up to eight ports. The SAFETYSUB connectors are suitable for direct burial without epoxy or taping.
