The Eaton surge products are designed to provide protection at the point of entrance to the home. Protection at this location can reduce surges entering the home to an acceptable level for your home electronics and appliances.

• Universally connects to any manufacturer’s load center (breaker box)

• Easy to use

• Protects electronics from damaging effects of electrical surges

• Visible LED indication displays protective status of device

• Externally mounted making it universal – compatible with any manufacturer’s load center

• Product should be connected on the load side of the load center main service disconnect through a dedicated circuit breaker

• Product is recommended to use a 2-pole 50 Amp circuit breaker, sold separately

• Eaton’s complete home surge protection type 2 devices (CHSPT2 Series) protect your home electronics from the damaging effects of electrical surges

• Provide premium surge protection for AC power and cable at the point of entrance to the home

• CHSPT2 family of products require a dedicated 2-pole 50 Amp thermal magnetic breaker
