Legrand Expands Outdoor Power Portfolio with New, Faster-Installing and Design-Forward Solutions

February 11, 2026

Legrand, a global leader in electrical and digital building infrastructures, has expanded its Outdoor Power Solutions portfolio with the launch of the new Direct Bury Outdoor Power Pedestal and a warmer lighting option for its Outdoor Charging Stations.

The Direct Bury Outdoor Power Pedestal is designed to reduce installation time by eliminating the need for concrete and cure time. By allowing power to be placed directly in the ground, the solution helps contractors shorten installation schedules, reduce labor and material requirements, and move projects forward faster without sacrificing performance.

As part of Legrand’s Outdoor Power Pedestal offering, the Direct Bury Pedestal delivers safe, permanent power designed to blend into the landscape, keeping the focus on the environment. Built to withstand wind, rain, and prolonged sun exposure, the pedestal line supports everything from everyday equipment to large-scale events, with options that balance durability, aesthetics, and functionality, including:

  • Premium finish selections, including new green and brown color options
  • Multiple height options, to meet diverse site requirements
  • Direct-bury or surface-mount installation flexibility
  • Prewired or unwired configurations for faster deployment or on-site customization
  • High-amperage support from 15-100A with NEMA-rated receptacles

Legrand has also introduced a warmer, more inviting light to the line of Outdoor Charging Stations. The new 3000K Charging Station allows infrastructure to better align with site ambiance, complementing a wide range of architectural styles and thoughtfully designed outdoor spaces.

“Our customers are designing the outdoor spaces where people live, work, and gather—and they need power solutions that elevate those environments without compromising durability or visual appeal,” said Megan Knedler, Senior Director of Product Management, Wiremold & Connectrac . “With the launch of the Direct‑Bury Power Pedestal and enhancements to the Outdoor Charging Station, we’re strengthening the very capabilities that brought customers to Legrand in the first place: purposeful innovation, thoughtful design, and dependable performance.

Today, our outdoor portfolio is more comprehensive than ever—spanning solutions for EV charging, large‑scale events, and everyday public spaces. And we’re not slowing down. We’re investing heavily in this category, with new advancements rolling out over the next year that will empower landscape architects, designers, and building owners to transform any open space into a more connected, more functional, and more inspiring place to be.”
