Nesco Firestop-814 Intumescent Firestopping Sealant

NESCO introduces Firestop-814, a cULus-listed intumescent firestopping sealant engineered to restore fire-rated integrity for up to 4 hours when floors and walls are penetrated by mechanical, electrical, or plumbing systems. Firestop-814 meets ASTM-E814, ASTM-E1966, and other critical standards and is chemically compatible with PVC, CPVC, ABS, PEX, and most pipe types.

  • Chemistry: Acrylic, water-based
  • Application temperature: 4°C to 49°C (40°F to 120°F)
  • Color: Red for easy inspection
  • Tooling time: ~30 minutes; full cure in 3-4 weeks
  • VOC content: ≤10g/L; LEED v4 tested
  • Shelf life: Approximately 2 years
  • Up to 4-hour fire-rating (ASTM-E814 compliant)
  • Paintable after cure
  • Available in 10.1 fl. oz. tubes
